Our client fulfils the needs of small to medium-sized banks, FinTechs and other financial institutions with its modular, professional ICT solutions and comprehensive banking services. As a banking and IT spe-cialist, our client offers innovative banking services, products and managed ICT services from a single source.
The Spanish branch in Madrid supports the sister companies in Switzerland and Germany in the provi-sion of their ICT and banking back-office services and is continuously expanding these. The Spanish company currently provides services in software development, ICT (cloud) operations, application man-agement and compliance services.

Responsibilities
- Implementation of the corporate vision for all operational business units in Spain (software develop-ment, ICT (cloud) operations, application management and compliance services) in close coopera-tion with the management in Switzerland and Germany.
- Implementation of the local operating model in line with the business and global strategy, including setting standards, procurement decisions, regulatory compliance and operational risk management.
- Building up the Spanish subsidiary from scratch in close cooperation with the head office in Switzer-land.
- Establishing an efficient organization, optimizing costs, ensuring a high-quality service within the group of companies.
- Recruitment of the required employees, as well as coordination, management, and motivation of the Spanish team on site.
- Managing the various functional teams, setting targets, reviewing performance, organizational struc-ture and participating in selection/promotion decisions to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve the team's objectives.
- Ensuring that a succession plan is in place for key operational positions.
- Anticipating the necessary developments to meet future business needs.

Anforderungen

  • Leadership personality with management experience in a comparable function.

  • Ability to combine operational responsibility with long-term and strategic thinking.

  • Spanish as mother tongue and proficiency in English. German is considered a valuable asset.

  • Higher specialized education in computer science or a related field desirable.

  • Further education in business administration (MBA or similar) desirable.

  • Experience in the financial sector is desirable.

  • Experience in service management and project management.
